Q 1. What is the admission criteria/Policy at BTSC?

Admissions are granted strictly on merit based evaluation of the student’s academic performance. Entry test, interview, School leaving certificate and report card from the last institution attended or Board result are key contributing factors to your child’s admission. Q 2. Where can I get the Registration Form?

Registration Inquiries can be submitted online through the school’s website. Please click the link below to submit your inquiry: https://www.bahriatownschool.edu.pk/OnlineAdmissionInquiry/Index

For the complete registration procedure, Admission Office of any of the School Campuses may be visited, between Monday to Thursday Timing: 09:00 am – 03:00 pm and for Friday & Saturday 09:00 am to 01:00 pm.

Q 3. Do I need to bring any documents for the Registration?

Q 4. Where can I get the prospectus?

Prospectus is available at Admission Offices, at all School Campuses.

Q 5. Can I visit the school before applying?

Yes, you can visit the school after School hours between 2:00-pm to 3:45 pm. Please send an email to info@bahriatownschool.edu.pk with the date you want to visit and report to the reception on arrival. 

Q 6. Where can we get the School uniform and books?

 All books mentioned on the booklist can be purchased from the market, only students' notebooks and homework diaries will be provided by the school.

Q 7. Do you have co-educational or segregated campuses for girls and boys?

We offer separate education for Girls at Sec B and Boys at Sec F, Lahore campuses. Whereas, our Karachi Campus and Orchard Campus Lahore, are currently operating as co-ed schools. Please click the link for more details about the campuses. http://www.bahriatownschool.edu.pk/campuses

Q 8. Can we pay school fees in cash to the school’s accounts office?

No, you cannot pay the fee by cash to the Accounts or any other offices at BTSC. Fee Challan (Registration, Admission, Tuition, etc.) has to be paid in the School’s Account at designated banks i.e Askari Bank, Sindh Bank and Allied Bank Limited(Orchard Branch only).

Q 9.  Can I pay a fee online to the designated banks?

Yes, you can pay the fee online, however, a receipt must be forwarded to: accounts@bahriatownschool.edu.pk.

Q 10. Is there any discounts available for Bahria Residents?

Yes, Bahria Residents enjoy discount on the tuition Fee.

Q 11. Is there any sibling discount available?

No, we do not offer any sibling discount.

Q 12. For those who cannot afford to pay the fee, is there a waiver?

No.

Q 13. Which syllabus are you following in BTSC?

BTSC's designed curriculum and syllabus are covered from the Oxford, Paramount, PTB books.  We follow the Cambridge Assessment International Education CAIE formerly known as International Exam (CIE) for O & A Levels and BISE for Matriculation and Intermediate. We use the syllabus provided by the University of Punjab for our graduate classes at Girls College.

Q 14. What co-curricular opportunities are available to students in BTSC?

Our co-curricular activities includes a variety of sports & athletics, music, drama, debates, community services, Social Welfare Clubs, opportunity to participate in Inter House and Interschool competitions.

Q 15. Do you have a semester or a term-based system?

We have a term-based system with predefined course length. Students are promoted based on cumulative results of tests and exams held throughout the year.

Q 16. Do you have Parent Teachers Meetings?

Yes, we do have PTMs (Parent Teachers Meetings) on a regular and scheduled basis. We have a dedicated team of coordinators for each grade to communicate with the parents and to deal with any issue pertaining to their child.

Q 17. Do you provide pick & drop service to students?

Yes, we do provide pick & drop service to Bahria Residents at nominal charges, on a first come first served basis.

Q 18. Do you have IT facilities at School?

Yes, we have fully equipped IT Labs with internationally accredited FourthR programme for computer training, at all levels. In addition, Promethean Interactive Smart boards are being used, at all levels, for teaching.

Q 19. Do you provide the opportunities to students to perform Science practicals in laboratory?

Yes, we have separate laboratories for Biology, Chemistry & Physics where the students perform practicals individually, under the supervision of their teachers and trained laboratory attendants. We also have a well-equipped Food & Nutrition laboratory in our girls’ campus.

Q 20. Are your teachers trained enough to guide the students for Cambridge exams?

All Junior, Middle + Senior School/ College teachers hold a Master’s Degree in their respective disciplines. In-service special training sessions are held on a regular basis. Teachers are sent to workshops organized by the British Council & other organizations, so that they can keep themselves updated.

Q 21. Can I get in touch with the Principal/Vice Principal?

Yes, you can after seeking an appointment from the front desk officers or the School Secretary.

Q 22. What safety/Security measures are in place at BTSC?

We have a team of trained security guards at all Campuses. CCTV cameras are installed and all key areas are monitored. Fire drills are held on a regular basis and fire extinguishers are installed in every campus.

Q 23. How do you deal with any medical emergency pertaining to any child during School timings?

For minor ailments First Aid care is given at the school and parents are informed right away. For injury or any other serious emergency, the child is sent to the Bahria Hospital along with the school staff and parents are informed on an immediate basis.

Q 24. Is there any system by which a parent is informed if the student is absent from School?

Immediately after assembly, the class teacher takes the roll call and an SMS is generated to the parents of children who are absent. The SMS is sent to the cell phone number provided by the parents in their contact information.
